We offer a collect and deliver service for alterations and dry cleaning. We are based in Clitheroe but operate over a wide area including Lancashire, Manchester and Cheshire.
Dry cleaning
We now offer a brand new service that builds on our already established and highly successful washing and ironing business. Wash 'n Press provides a service to those customers who do not have the time to travel to their local dry cleaners. Wash 'n Press will collect your dry cleaning (and laundry) from your place of work or home. Once your dry cleaning is completed, we will deliver it back promptly.
Alterations
Why discard your most precious garments just because they don't quite fit of perhaps are slightly damaged? We can work miracles with even the most delicate of fabrics. Be kind to the environment and be kind to your pocket as well! Here's a wonderful suggestion for a sunday afternoon (we call it 'keep it, fix it, clean it, throw it'!) .....
- Remove every piece of clothing you own from your drawers and wardrobes.
- Try each garment on.
- If it looks good but doesn't fit, put it on the 'fix it' pile.
- If it looks good and still fits, fold it up and put it away.
- If it looks bad or just doesn't suit you (be ruthless), put it in the 'throw it pile'. Ready for the charity shop.
- If it looks in need of a clean or freshen up, put it in the clean it pile'. Ready for us to collect.
